Where to Get Tickets for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival
The best place to get tickets is via the festival’s official website at www.bluegrass.com/telluride/tickets.html. If you’re certain to attend then make sure you purchase your tickets in advance because they tend to be sold out at least a month before the Festival dates. You get to save money if you buy in advance as well!
You can order either online or by contacting the festival’s admission office at 800-624-2422 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 800-624-2422 end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 800-624-2422 end_of_the_skype_highlighting. You don’t have to worry about being charged extra because there are no handling fees involved. Just be aware, however, that only four-day festival passes are sold in advance. For single-day passes – these will only be available in springtime.
The four-day festival pass can be purchased in advance for only $185.
With the above four-day pass, you’re eligible to take advantage of the high school camping accommodation, which is offered for only $60. If you prefer to camp at Lawson Hill, a slot will cost you $55. The latter also offers RV camping slots for $175.
Another camping site which offers discounted rates for Festival pass holders includes Mary E. Ilium Camping; camping and vehicle passes are both offered at $50 each.
Children twelve years and below may attend the event for free as long as long as they’re accompanied by an adult pass holder.
Where to Get Tickets for Night Grass Shows
When Telluride closes for the day, another festival begins and brings the night alive with the best Bluegrass acts.
Night Grass tickets are sold separately and will only be available for purchase in springtime. Shows will be held at the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon and the legendary Sheridan Opera House, both of which are located just a stone’s throw away from the main festival grounds at Town Park. Some special Night Grass events will also be held at Mountain Village’s Telluride Conference Center; pass holders will be offered gondola rides to the venue for free.
